Picturesque summits set rocky accents in a bright, gentle landscape; small villages are casually spread along the shores and the reddish larch wood of old houses shines brightly, warm and familiar. Now and then villas and castles tell stories of noble guests that soon became friends with the inhabitants of Grundlsee. It is an inexhaustible pleasure to discover this area again and again and to follow the change of colours and moods.
