From Salza reservoir near Bad Mitterndorf in the foothills of Grimming Mountain the trail leads through the enchanted Laasen moor landscape to Lake Ödensee (780m). From there path leads in northern direction across Radlingpass (853m) to Lake Grundlsee and to Gößl.
The Alexander-Baumann forestry trail leads to the mysterious Lake Toplitz. A worthwhile detour can be made to the small Lake Kammersee at the romantic end of the valley. It is only possible to get there by boat across Lake Toplitz though.
A slightly ascending forestry trail via Obertressen leads from Lake Grundlsee to Lake Altausseer See (710m).
